Donald Sterling "Racist? It's Not Me!"

During Donald Sterling's interview with Anderson Cooper Donald claimed "I am not a racist, I am very sorry for hurting people, I made a terrible, terrible mistake. I have hurt so many innocent people, I have hurt myself. I am sorry, I am apologetic."  He went on, "I'm not a racist, I have never been a racist, and it's not me!"

Donald Sterling is grasping at straws.  He is attempting to take the bullets out of the gun that he loaded himself.  By playing the victim, an 80 year old foolish man with cancer, whose words have been misunderstood, he is reaching for anything to grasp onto.

Donald was as blatant to use his Granddaughter for attempted sympathy. His wife, Shelly believes he is suffering from dementia, but their relationship is a business partnership and she has no clue of what or who her husband does in his free time, or cares for that matter.

Don't believe a word this man says. Sterling has been the worse owner in professional sports for decades. Finally the owners, players, friends, girlfriends and family have something that will help in the extermination of Mr. Sterling owning an NBA franchise.

He needs to go away quietly, but the media will not allow him to.  The sensationalism of this situation is too huge. This stuff cannot be made up. And is cued up perfectly for the media to hook their wagons grit their teeth and hang onto this bumpy ride.

People love to see others fail, but beware as we Americans are programmed to forgive. When the media has squeezed the last bit of humility out of Donald and the check has been written to sell the team, the journey of Donald Sterling will go down in history as one of the biggest "mistakes" a person could make.

Oh he will get a lot of money, and should, because he built the company even with his lack of couth.  His wife, Shelly will stand to profit as she owns half of everything Donald owns, maybe more as Donald could give the team to his wife and she could sell it.

Magic Johnson is not going to give Donald anything to grab onto either. In an interview with CNN, he shared the following...

"And again, I'm going to pray for the man because even if I see him today, I'm going to say hello to Donald and his wife as well," Johnson added. "I'm not a guy who holds grudges and all that. Yes, am I upset? Of course!

"But at the same time, I'm a God fearing man and I'm going to pray for him and hope things work out for him."

The saga continues.
